As far as how the game plays, it is easy to control and has Sim-like simulations. The graphics are great. You can compete in dressage, Western riding, jumping and just riding for fun. You will make friends and be a part of a very exciting story when you play this game. There is always something new to figure out and decisions to be made.
One of the most interesting, and perhaps necessary, parts of Elden Ring is the riding system. After a short time in-game, players gain the ability to summon Torrent, Elden Ring's player horse, in the open world. Riding Torrent vastly speeds up exploration and can lead players to locations normally inaccessible with his vertically-oriented moveset.
Horse combat can also be more effective than it might first seem. By holding down the strong attack button while riding, you can create an active hitbox alongside you. "You can drag a greatsword along the ground," IronPineapple explains, "or if you want to be extra cool, you can twirl some twinblades. You can also use this to combo bigger enemies over and over with larger weapons". Additionally, you can do a finisher on an enemy you've knocked off their horse as well as change direction mid-air while on horseback.
